Cytology:- The study of cell and it's component under the microscope is know as cytology. It deals with the structure only.
Cell Biology:- The study of cell and the function of it's different component is known as cell biology.

Commercial 'cork' is obtained from Quericus Suber. It's structure is like Honey comb. The first cell discovered by Robert Hooke was cork cell. It was discovered in 1665.

Von Leeuwenhoek in 1674 observed living cell in rain water contained injar. Bacterial cell was present in rain water. So the cell was protoplasmic, non intact.

# Cytoplasm- The part of cell between plasma membrane and nucleus.
